My partner and I would like to enlist your help in making a dream-come-true for a young man that is struggling with T-Cell Leukemia at the tender age of 16. Luis is a baseball enthusiast having played on organized teams since he was 9 years old. Unfortunately, he cannot participate in his passion as he could before he was stricken with this life-threatening illness. This disease is not only taking a physical toll on Luis, but an emotional toll on the entire family along with a significant financial burden on his parents.
Debbie Davis and I, The LUXE Group, have teamed with Arthur Rutenberg Homes, the Children’s Dream Fund and KW Cares to raise money to enable Luis to realize a Dream, to visit Hawaii, as well as, assist his family with the numerous debts they are incurring due to treatments, the care for Luis and his siblings and necessities, e.g., food and shelter. Hence, we appeal to you for help. We know that being recognized as a caring and concerned professional that gives back to your community is important to you.
Arthur Rutenberg Homes has affirmed a desire to help this family and is, thereby donating a portion of the proceeds of the sales of their three remaining homes in the Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club community for a limited time. Debbie and I are also committed to this end and will be donating a portion of our commissions to the aforementioned foundations on behalf of this deserving family. To do this we will be hosting a Mega-Open House scheduled for March 29, 2008 from 3 p.m.- 7 p.m. in the staged model located at 13652 Carnoustie Circle. We cannot do this by ourselves. We need you! This letter is a special call to real estate professionals working with clients looking to purchase homes in renowned golf community. However, it's also a call to the community to participate in an event that will help a family in need and a child with life threatening illness.
It's not every day that we see real estate professionals banding together to make a difference, but believe that it happens. The LUXE Group of Keller Williams Kelly Realty have created a 'model' that sets a precedence for real estate agents, sellers, and not-for-profit organizations to work together and provide financial assistance to an individual/family in need within the community. The importance of this 'model' lies in the opportunity created for Listing agent and Seller to sell the house and "Give" to a worthy cause. The opportunities extend to real estate professionals to do what we do best, "Serve" our communities.
